Education The applicant should have completed high school. Experience is an asset. Credentials required The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate. Work Setting Community service organization Area of Instruction Individual sports, Organized games, Team sports Type of Clients General population (all ages) Area of Functional Expertise Consulting, Event planning and organization, Program planning and development, Program implementation and delivery, Program evaluation Specific Skills Schedule facility programs and staff, Co-ordinate facility sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities, Lobby for funding and support, Design, develop and deliver social/recreational programs Additional Skills Answer requests, inquiries and complaints, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications Security and Safety Criminal record check Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment Work Location Information Remote location Essential Skills Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Continuous learning Other Information This internship is supported by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corp.
