Terms This is a permanent, full time job

Salary will be $22.00 to $24.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education The applicant should have completed college.

Experience at least three years experience.

Credentials required The applicant should have Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification, Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.

Type of Experience Trucks

Area of Specialization Brake systems, Frame straightening, Welding, Truck-trailer repair

Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills Perform scheduled maintenance service, Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements

Truck Mechanic Specific Skills Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems

Additional Skills Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor, Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Own Tools/Equipment Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Hand-eye co-ordination

Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information Willing to relocate

Other Information MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS TO TRAILERS IN A BUSY FLEET ENVIRONMENT. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MAINTENANCE & REPAIR OF TRUCK-TRAILERS. PRESENTATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. REF #27
