G G T REPAIR SHOP INC.has 3 positions for a Diesel mechanic - heavy equipmentin Terms This is a temporary, full time job, which reqires working days and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available. Salary will be $20.00 per hour for a 40 hour week. Education The applicant should have some high school. Experience at least three years experience. Credentials required The applicant should have Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate. Major Work Area Repair, Overhaul, Maintenance, Service Type of Equipment Repair Diesel powered automobiles, Heavy trucks, Tractors, Dump trucks Diesel Engine Repair Specialization Fuel injection systems, Exhaust systems, Cooling systems, Air conditioning systems, Lubrication systems, Engine control systems, Major internal engine repairs or overhaul, Installation and alignment of engines and machinery Weight Handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Specific Skills Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work Security and Safety Criminal record check, Medical exam Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding, Attention to detail Work Site Environment Non-smoking Work Location Information Staff accommodation provided, In shop Essential Skills Numeracy, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning ApplyBy email Sequence ID: 1664537 |
