Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary will be $23.00 to $28.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience more than five years experience.

Credentials required The applicant should have Machinist Trade Certification.

Work Setting General manufacturing

Type of Machine Experience Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines CNC machines, Engine lathes, Milling machines, Surface grinders

Measuring Tools Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Specific Skills Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances

Own Tools/Equipment Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines
