Salary will be $15.00 to $18.00 per hour for a 40 hour week. Education The applicant should have completed high school. Experience at least a full years experience. Credentials required The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification. Work Setting Heavy machinery manufacturing company Type of Machine or Equipment Set Up or Operation Power presses Weight Handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Specific Skills Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist, Document work completed, Clean and lubricate equipment Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail Work Site Environment Noisy Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing Other Information Responsible to set-up(1000 ton linear press)and stamp parts for sub-assemblies and finished parts.
