BizTech Institutehas 2 positions for a Training instructor - college or vocational institute(business Administration) Terms This is a casual, full time job, which reqires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available. Salary will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. Education The applicant should have completed college. Experience one or two years experience. Credentials required The applicant should have Registration with a professional accreditation body, Industry/Trade certification. Work Setting Private training organization or college, Technical institute, Vocational school Area of Instruction Education Specific Skills Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress, Advise students on program curricula and career decisions, Serve on faculty committees for budgets, curriculum revision, course requirements, student application review and staffing, Develop course content, Develop diploma or certificate program of study, Conduct course and program evaluation or review, Provide consultative services to government, business and other organizations, Deliver lectures and presentations, Demonstrate and supervise laboratory experiments, Train and supervise students in practical shop work session, Evaluate shop work of students in trades, Practical experience related to area of instruction, Provide assistance to students with special needs Additional Skills Supervise teaching assistants, Use audio-visual equipment, Prepare reports Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation, Public transportation is available Ability to Supervise 5-10 people Teaching Audience youth, Adult, Immigrants, International students, College/University students Teaching Format Tutor/one-on-one instruction, Lecture, Classroom, Seminar Essential Skills Writing, Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use Other Information Candidate must have 2-3 years of teaching experience in accounting, bookkeeping, quickbooks, sage accpac courses.
