Terms This is a permanent, part time job, which reqires working evenings.

Salary will be $8.75 per hour for a 6 hour week.

Education The applicant should have some high school.

Experience a modicum is required.

School Grades of Children Kindergarten, Elementary school and middle school, High school

Work Periods Regularly or part time

Specific Skills Use basic remedial education techniques, Monitor and report to classroom teacher on student progress, Mark tests and worksheets using a key if required

Essential Skills Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning

Other Information Kumon is an after-school math and reading program. Children complete work and it is marked by Teaching Assistants, who assist in problem solving. Classes are Mondays and Thursdays, from 330-630pm.
