Talisman Resort Villageis looking for Executive housekeeper(executive Housekeeper) Terms This is a seasonal, full time job, which reqires working days, evenings, and weekends. Salary will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. Education The applicant should have completed high school. Experience Talisman Resort Village will provide training.. Credentials required The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System). Work Setting Resort Size of Lodging Operation (Hotels, motels, resorts etc.) 50 - 100 rooms Size of Hospital / Health Institution 50 - 100 beds Size of Dormitories / Student Residence Not required Specific Skills Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department, Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas, Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, Prepare budgets and payrolls, Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals, Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms, Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, Ensure hospital infection control, Respond to complaints of guests Additional Skills Select and purchase equipment and supplies, Supervise staff, Co-ordinate contract services, Operate computer software programs, Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services, Supervise in-house laundry services, Co-ordinate in-house laundry services, Co-ordinate dry cleaning and valet services Security and Safety Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Large workload Work Site Environment Non-smoking Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available Ability to Supervise 3-4 people Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning Profile for Talisman Resort Village Year round Resort Hotel.
