Salary will be $11.00 per hour for a 35 hour week. Education The applicant should have completed high school. Experience is an asset. Work Setting Community agency, Continuing/adult education facility Area of Instruction Information technology Specific Skills Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Deliver lectures and presentations, Practical experience related to area of instruction Additional Skills Use audio-visual equipment Security and Safety Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract) Transportation/Travel Information Own vehicle, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is not available Work Location Information Rural community, Various locations Teaching Audience Children, youth, Adult Teaching Format Tutor/one-on-one instruction Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning Other Information Contract 420 hrs. Must legally able to work in Canada, between 15-30, & not in receipt of EI benefits.
