Experience at least three years experience. Cook Categories Cook (general) Work Setting Nursing home or other health institution Types of Meals/Food Prepared Therapeutic diets, All meals Specific Skills Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions Security and Safety Criminal record check Essential Skills Oral communication, Working with others Other Information Red Seal Certificate preferred. Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in health care or retirement care setting. Knowledgeable of Ontario Food Premises Regulation required.
