Terms This is a temporary, part time job, which reqires working days.

Salary will be $17.00 per hour for a 12 hour week.

Education The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience at least a full years experience.

Credentials required The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class D or 3), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.

Travel Experience Local

Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Load and unload goods, Use maps and other trip planning aids, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle

Additional Skills Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Security and Safety Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation

Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE SEMI- RETIRED DRIVER. The shifts are 2 to 3 times a week for local runs.
