Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available. Salary will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. Experience one or two years experience. Credentials required The applicant should have Driver’s licence. Truck or Equipment Experience Salt truck, Snowplough Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Specific Skills Operate various vehicles and equipment, Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment, Report any malfunctions to supervisor Security and Safety Driver’s validity license check Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is available Work Location Information Urban area Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory Other Information If familiar with landscape construction, employment can commence immediately.
