Credentials required The applicant should have Stationary Engineering Trade Certification, Stationary Engineer 1st Class, Stationary Engineer 2nd Class, Stationary Engineer 3rd Class.

Type of Equipment Computerized control systems, Stationary engines, Low pressure boilers, High pressure boilers, Pumps, Diesel generators, Electric generators, Compressors, Motors, Switches, Valves, Gauges, Meters, Hand tools, Chillers, HVAC, Water and wastewater treatment, Pneumatic controls, Electronic controls, Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Distributed control systems (DCS)

Specific Skills Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures

Additional Skills Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams
