YMCA-YWCA of Guelphis looking for Food service attendant(food Service Attendant) Terms This is a permanent, part time job, which reqires working days, evenings, and weekends. Salary will be $10.00 per hour for a 25 hour week. Education The applicant should have completed high school. Credentials required The applicant should have First Aid Certificate. Work Setting Catering firm Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs Kitchen Helping Skills Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Handle and store cleaning products, Sweep and mop floors Bussing Skills Load buspans and trays Dishwashing Skills Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Scour pots and pans, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation, Public transportation is available Essential Skills Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning Profile for YMCA-YWCA of Guelph The YMCA-YWCA of Guelph is a non-profit organization.
