Type of Machine or Equipment Set Up or Operation Power presses, Brakes Weight Handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Specific Skills Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines, Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Document work completed, Replace parts as required Security and Safety Bondable Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Manual dexterity, Attention to detail Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation Essential Skills Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Continuous learning Other Information This is an afternoon shift Monday to Thursday 3:30pm till 2:00am.
