G4S Security Services (Canada)has 8 positions for a Security officerin Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available. Salary will be $8.75 to $9.00 per hour for a 40 hour week. Education The applicant should have completed high school. Type of Assignments Fixed post, Patrol post, Roving patrol Specific Skills Enforce regulations of establishments, Maintain order, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Monitor security television, Operate security control room equipment, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Control vehicular and pedestrian traffic, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reports Security and Safety Bondable Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence Work Location Information Various locations Other Information Applicants must meet insurance requirements.
