Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary will be $15.00 to $17.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience at least three years experience.

Work Setting Metal product fabrication industry

Type of Equipment Overhead crane, Hoist, Automatic conveyor, Forging press

Metal Forming or Shaping Operations Experience Flattening, Straightening, Drawing, Cutting, Punching, Bending

Weight Handling Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal, Position and adjust dies on anvil of forging machinery

Security and Safety Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is available

Other Information As lead hand, you will be working along with the supervisor. Ensuring that the safety, quality and productivity are on target in the dept.You are responsible for loading die, Quality Control checks.
