Business Equipment and Computer Applications Electronic cash register Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Work Setting Restaurant, Coffee shop Food and Beverage Serving Skills Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections Additional Skills Customer service oriented, Address customers’ complaints or concerns, Assist customers with special needs, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, Load buspans and trays, Set tables, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation, Public transportation is not available Work Location Information Rural community Security and Safety Bondable Essential Skills Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning Other Information Must be able to work most weekends.
