Terms This is a permanent, part time job, which reqires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary will be $16.96 per hour for a 12 hour week.

Experience Canadian Deafblind & Rubella Association (ON Chapter) INC will provide training..

Credentials required The applicant should have Child and Youth Care Worker (CCW/CYW) Diploma, Social Service Worker (SSW) Diploma, Community Support Worker (CSW) Diploma, Human Services Diploma, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate.

Work Setting Community or neighbourhood centre, Private home

Target Groups or Clients Persons who are deaf/hard of hearing, Persons who are blind/visually impaired

Type of Community or Social Service Education or training

Specific Skills Assess client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs, Provide personal services support to persons with special needs

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Work under pressure

Transportation/Travel Information Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer

Work Location Information Work in employer’s/client’s home, Various locations

Security and Safety Criminal record check
