Credentials required The applicant should have Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Accreditation, Society of Management Accountants (CMA) Accreditation, Institute of Internal Auditors Accreditation, Certified General Accountants Association (CGA) membership. Financial Auditor Specific Skills Examine financial records and transactions, Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, Prepare reports and audit findings, Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements Accountant Specific Skills Examine accounting records, Prepare financial statements and reports, Analyze financial documents and reports Security and Safety Enhanced reliability security clearance, Secret clearance Other Information Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) Experience conducting internal audit & statistical sampling verification,planning and leading audits,verifying financial transactions.
