Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary will be $10.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education The applicant should have some high school.

Experience is an asset.

Credentials required The applicant should have Red Cross Swimming Instructor/Life Saving Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Lifesaving Bronze Medallion, Lifesaving Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate.

Work Setting YMCA,YWCA, YMHA and YWHA

Activity Focus Leading/instructing individuals, Leading/instructing groups, Patrolling/supervising activities

Specific Skills Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, Enforce safety rules and regulations

Additional Skills Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Assist with special events, Prepare reports, Keep logs and maintain records

Security and Safety Criminal record check

Work Site Environment In/on water
