Work Setting Private training organization or college

Area of Instruction Basic skills upgrading, High school English, High school Mathematics, High school Science, English as a second language, Mathematics

Specific Skills Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress, Develop course content, Practical experience related to area of instruction

Additional Skills Prepare reports

Security and Safety Criminal record check

Teaching Audience Adult

Teaching Format Tutor/one-on-one instruction, Lecture, Classroom

Essential Skills Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information Instructor will teach adults senior English, mathematics and sciences. Prepare academic reports. Experience in adult education an asset. Must be professional, creative, and take initiative.
