Terms This is a temporary, part time job, which reqires working days.

Salary will be $15.74 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education The applicant should have completed college.

Experience at least a full years experience.

Work Setting Community or neighbourhood centre

Target Groups or Clients Male, Female, Adolescents

Type of Community or Social Service Education or training, Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance), Early intervention programming for at-risk youth

Specific Skills Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services, Implement life skills workshops, Assess client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs, Resolve conflict situations, Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research
