Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days. Some overtime will be available.

Salary will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education The applicant should have some high school.

Credentials required The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification.

Weight Handling Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment, Check and weigh materials and products, Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products, Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers, Clean work areas and equipment, Perform other labouring and elemental activities

Security and Safety Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods

Essential Skills Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others

Other Information Cargill Value Added Meats is a food processing facility with cooler/freezer environments. We currently operate 4X10 hour shifts - Tuesday to Friday. Must be willing to work overtime when required.
