Terms This is a permanent, full time job, which reqires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Credentials required The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Weight Handling More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance, Perform emergency roadside repairs

Additional Skills Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers, Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques

Security and Safety Driving record check (abstract)
